The Chi-Lites are an American R&B/Soul vocal group from Chicago. They formed at Hyde Park High School in 1959. The original group members were Eugene Record, Robert “Squirrel” Lester, Credell “Crazy Legs” Davis, and Harold “Buster” Jones.

The Chi-Lites were one of the most popular R&B groups of the 1960s and 1970s. They were known for their smooth harmonies, soulful ballads, and funky grooves.
